TOPIK 16
~~~~~~~~
The Topic of this disk is "KnowAboutIt". The disk contains programs which
you need to know about in order to fully work them to their potential.
The Contents of this disk:
C directory - Contains MOST, show (IFF picture shower), and DD, a program
which combines the best of List and Dir together into one
command.
Hints - Three technical text files. One about a hardware thing called
the Rejuvenator1000, which allows all the fancy new chips from
commodore to be worked on the A1000, thus saving it from
obsoletion. Another about how to fit the FatAgnus chip to the
500 or 2000 and/or how to get it up and running. The last is
a backyard hack on how to prevent garbage coming in on your
modem line.
MicroRayDbw - A raytracing program which combines all of the best features,
and includes ALL the C source files for the different parts of
the programs. If you've ever wandered how something is done
in programming raytracing, or you want to enter raytracing,
then its all here.
DSM - The Dynamic Sound Machine allows a sound sample to be
converted into an executable program which plays the sound
when executed. One part only sound files are very convenient.
Unfortunately this is a demo version with the save option
disabled, encouraging you to send a donation off to America
for the full thing. Good advertising and selling method, but
a pain in the custom chips.
ExecLib - Detailed instruction and examples of how to get your own
disk-resident libraries up and running, same as such libraries
as translator.library, arp.library, etc, which locate
themselves in the libs drawer of your system disk.
LogicSim - A logic simulator, allows the building of Logic Circuitry on
screen and then the testing of the circuits through
simulation.
